Is Study Everything ?
By Samad Malik
People often say, “Study is everything.”
But the real question is that study really everything?
There’s no doubt that study is important. Education gives us knowledge, teaches us how to think, and helps us build a stable future. But if we believe that marks, degrees, and ranks are the only things that matter, then we are missing a big part of life.
Life is bigger than textbooks.
Life is emotions.
Life is failures.
A person with low marks can still become a great human being, and a topper can still feel lost in life. Study is a tool for success, not success itself. Real success is complete only when knowledge is combined with values, kindness, and self-awareness.
Not everyone is running the same race.
Some people are good at books,
some at art,
some at sports,
and some at understanding people.
If study were everything, every educated person would be happy. But reality is different. Inner peace, purpose, and happiness are not found on a marksheet.
This doesn’t mean education is useless.
Not at all.
Study is important but study alone is not everything.
Balance is the real key to success.
So yes, study hard.
Give it your best.
But never measure your worth only by marks.
You are more than your grades.
You are a story one that cannot be defined by exams alone.
